Spearheaded the go-to-market content strategy for the CMC Markets and TradingView integration. Designed and executed a comprehensive "Getting Started" hub to bridge the gap between third-party analysis and trade execution, ensuring seamless user onboarding in a regulated environment.

Problem :
While TradingView is the industry standard for charting, users faced significant friction when trying to "bridge the gap" to actual trade execution. The process of connecting a CMC account to TradingView was technical and non-intuitive, leading to a high volume of support tickets and a drop-off in user activation during the "Connect Account" phase.



Solution :
I engineered a structured "Educational Ecosystem" rather than a simple blog post.
User Journey Mapping: Structured the content hierarchy to follow the user's logical path: Awareness ("What is TradingView?") → Decision (Account Comparison) → Action (Step-by-step Connection Guide).
Visual Learning: Oversaw the creation of high-fidelity visual assets, including annotated screenshots of the "Supercharts" and "Order Ticket" panels, to visually guide users through trade placement and alert setup.
Retention Focus: Included advanced sections on "Essential Tools" and "Indicators" to ensure the page remained valuable for existing users, not just new leads.






Challenge :
The project required balancing technical complexity with regulatory compliance and SEO discoverability.
Technical Accuracy: The guide had to simplify complex API connection steps—like selecting the specific "Trading Panel" and authorizing broker access—without oversimplifying to the point of error.
Regulatory Constraints: As a Canadian financial entity, all content needed to strictly adhere to IIROC compliance, particularly when comparing account types like "Standard CFD" vs. "FX Active" and displaying risk warnings.
Discoverability: The content needed to rank organically for high-intent keywords (e.g., "Connect CMC to TradingView") to capture traffic from competitors.
Summary :
This initiative transformed a complex technical integration into a user-friendly acquisition channel. By creating a definitive "source of truth" for the TradingView integration, we successfully reduced support queries regarding account linking and improved the organic search visibility for CMC Markets as a top-tier TradingView broker in Canada.
